BOW NH, – Velocio Apparel announced donations totaling $19,265 to four non-profit partners, the result from the sales of their cause-market focused, Unity Jersey, a unique design with the mission of highlighting “what brings cyclists together” within the sport. The effort, highlighted through media and ambassadors was a summer-long effort and showcased elite racers, newcomers to cycling and all walks of riders in between.
Riders purchasing the limited edition jersey chose the ACLU, Amnesty International, the Human Rights Campaign and World Bicycle Relief to receive 100% of the profits from each individual purchase.
“Being a socially responsible brand is deeply set in Velocio’s DNA,” described co-founder and CEO, Brad Sheehan. “I’m proud of the design and the stories, the social posts and the feeling that came out of this project.”
