I had the pleasure of finding myself in a Nighttime photography class at the Boston Photography Workshop a few weeks ago as I was finding the process mystifying and sometimes working directly with humans is the best way to unravel a challenge.
Studio founder Chris Sanchez's style was entirely approachable and applicable, so immediately we were learning new and relevant skills. Although I have studied photo, somewhat haphazardly, for years I was rapidly able to clarify and answer questions I had stumbled through for ages (embarrassing but why we take classes-why didn't I do this sooner!).
We worked on both the technical and the aesthetic aspects in tandem, and having a second instructor Doug Seigers who specializes in a different area of the industry, and made a 1 to 2 teacher student ratio, made the class a total win. I can't wait to head back to learn more!
